ABOUT US
Citrus is a symbol of luxury and hospitality in southern Italy, particularly in Sicily from where the Cicala family emigrated. It is also a dedication to Joe Cicala’s great-grandmother, Clementina. The snake represents Angizia, the pagan snake goddess of the Marsi tribe who inhabited Angela Cicala’s familiar region of Abruzzo.
We are proud to serve authentic family recipes, rooted in the folklore and traditions of Italy’s southern regions.
Benvenuti e buon appettio!

We are a southern Italian restaurant located inside the historic Divine Lorraine Hotel on North Broad Street, in Philadelphia, where husband and wife chefs Joe and Angela Cicala, bring you the region’s most authentic Italian dining experience which focuses on seasonality, sustainability, and most importantly, simplicity.

Candlelight Wine Dinner
July 30, 8:00 pm

Celebrate the wines of Calabria at our first outdoor wine dinner on our new patio space, by candlelight. Hosted by our Sommelier, Angelo Secolo, we will be serving a 5 course Calabrian summer menu, paired with chilled whites, rose, and red wines from Ippolito 1845 Vineyards.

Ippolito 1845 is the oldest winery in Calabria. Vincenzo Ippolito started his mission to revive the indigenous grapes of Gaglioppo, Calabrese, and Pecorello over 160 years ago. Surrounded by orange trees and olive groves and bordered by the Ionian Sea, it is the perfect place for a vineyard.
Ippolito wines convey elegance, exclusivity, and a strong identity with their territory. The Ippolito family believes in preserving their environment by employing sustainable farming and wine making methods.

5-course dinner with wine pairing.
$95 per person, plus tax and gratuity
