Citrus is a symbol of luxury and hospitality in southern Italy, particularly in Sicily from where the Cicala family emigrated. It is also a dedication to Joe Cicala’s great-grandmother, Clementina. The snake represents Angizia, the pagan snake goddess of the Marsi tribe who inhabited Angela Cicala’s familiar region of Abruzzo.

"Baci Dame" which translates to "lady's kisses", these little hazelnut cookies come already baked. All you need to do is fill them with a small dallop of Nutella, ( included with this purchase), to make a tiny sandwhich, and dust with powdered sugar. Perfect for kids to make and leave them out for Santa, or keep them all to yourself. Makes 3 dozen baci dame cookies.
